Her story began in a place no kitten should ever have to call home.
Lucy Lou and her siblings were discovered in a cistern after their mother had moved them there and couldn't get them back out.
When they arrived at Auntie Umm's Tiny Paws & Claws, they were dehydrated but otherwise appeared healthy.
Then signs of illness began to emerge.
What started as a rescue became a journey of care, uncertainty, and hope.
But Lucy Lou's story had another chapter waiting.
Today, this beautiful little girl lives with a senior who had recently lost her husband.
Lucy Lou has her own toys, plenty of attention, and someone who loves to spoil her.
And her new companion has a little friend to share her days with.
One little kitten found a forever home. One grieving heart found a new companion. ❤️
This is why we rescue.
At Auntie Umm's Tiny Paws & Claws Inc., we believe every small life deserves a chance to be loved.
